ACE-FTS Climatology - Version 2.2

Description:

ACE-FTS version 2.2 (February 2004 to February 2009; including updates for 03 and N2O5) was used to create a quality-controlled climatology for the following 14 baseline species: O3, H2O, CH4, N2O, CO, NO, NO2, N2O5, HNO3, HCl, ClONO2, CCl3F, CCl2F2, and HF. Validation of the baseline species was published in the ACE Validation Special Issue of ACP.

The climatological fields are provided on a one- and three-month basis (DJF, MAM, JJA, SON), at 5 degree latitude and equivalent latitude spacing, and on 28 pressure surfaces. Please consult the associated reference and the data set 'ReadMe' files for further information.

In any publications using ACE data, such as this climatology, it is important to acknowledge the Canadian Space Agency for the funding of the SCISAT satellite. Any text that recognizes the Canadian Space Agency as funding the ACE Mission is permitted, but we have provided a sample to use that meets this requirement. This simple statement has been used in many publications with ACE data.
